About the Club

|

Pensacola Dog Fanciers Assoc, Inc.
is a non-profit organization dedicated to the
advancement of the sport, health and welfare of purebred dogs. Founded in 1936
to serve the Greater Pensacola area, PDFA is an All-Breed Club and has
been a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) since 1949.
The Club sponsors and participates in numerous
canine related activities. Portions & proceeds from these various endeavors are
frequently donated to Escambia & Santa Rosa County Animal Shelters as well as
various Canine Support Organizations.
Membership is open to anyone 17 or older who is
in good standing with the AKC and subscribes to the purposes of PDFA.
After completing an application and attending two meetings, you may be voted
into the Club.

Works to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs. |

Does all in its power to protect & advance sportsmanlike competition at dog
shows & obedience, rally obedience & agility trials. |

Holds AKC matches, dog shows, obedience, rally obedience and agility trials. |

Conducts educational programs & activities which stimulate public interest in
& appreciation of the value of purebred dogs. |

Strives to maintain a warm atmosphere and firm friendship among our club
members. |

Monthly Meetings
|
The membership meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the
month. Members are kept up-to-date on the activities of the club, as well
as provided with information & resources to better care for their canine
companions.

Regular Club Meetings will be held every 2nd Wednesday of a Month. Right now we are
meeting at the Village Inn on East Nine Mile Road in Pensacola, Florida.
We meet at 6PM for Dinner, the Meeting itself starts at 7PM.

Instead of a December
Meeting, we celebrate our annual Christmas Party! Please check
back at a later time for more information.

|
Board Meetings are held every last Tuesday of a Month. We also meet at
the Village Inn on East Nine Mile Road in Pensacola, Florida.
Starting at 6PM with Dinner and at 7PM with the Meeting itself. |
